Cult and King After the Exile: A Canonical Reading on the “Continuation” of 2 Kings 25

Abstract

At the end of my dissertation thesis „Die letzten Könige von Juda“ (English translation in preparation) some theological questions remained unanswered. These questions are traced in the present article by applying the canonical approach. The results are not unambiguous, but answers can be found both in the book of Isaiah and in the book group 1 Chr to Neh.
